Project Description

This exciting project will create “Carbon Crisis: The Final Equation”, a large, open-air climate change escape room game that blends digital technologies with the physical environment. The escape game has a standardized storyline relevant for playing in UK/international locations, while allowing for adaptation of puzzles to local contexts to increase relevance. Funding would support game development and design, and initial engagement workshops with 80-100 students from local schools to test the game as a tool to engage different stakeholders. Overall, the project will showcase the University of Hull’s key role as a community anchor, while also highlighting the university’s sustainability expertise and innovative teaching methods.
