Waterbird use of realignment site 2018/19 monitoring at Welwick
People Involved
Mr Matthew Stone
Project Description
This project is a continuation of previous monitoring studies carried out at the APB welwick realignment site (Humber Estuary) on the behalf of ABPmer. The project primarily entailed a series of surveys of waterbirds on the re-created intertidal areas and adjacent sites between September 2018 and March 2019. The aim of the study is to verify that the newly re-created intertidal area meets bird targets and compensate for losses of birds elsewhere on the Estuary.
